The National Skills Competition was opened on 19th. In order to respond to the first robot competitions this year, the Tainan Vocational Training Center of Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training will appear the security robot Tainan Training No.1 publicly first time, which is developed by the Professor Su, Kuo-Lan of the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology and Chou, Chi-Hua of the Wu-Feng Institute Of Technology and has the invader, fire and gas monitoring and measure and electricity appliance control module. And pull down the colorful ball with the secretary-general of the conference Chen, Jun-Lu etc. guests. The competition with robots involving 42 occupational fields is normally begins.

This year there are 1646 participants of the subarea competition in Taipei, Taichung and Tainan, totally 530 participants ranking the fifth place. Plus the 26 winning participants of the national mid-class school skills competition and the robots and bread making occupation the national competition, totally there are 598 participants covering 42 occupations.

The secretary-general of the conference Chen, Jun-Lu indicates in the ceremony that in order to inspire with more youth to dive into the occupational education and training, the national skills competition gold mental bonus will be increased to NTD500, 000 from NTD300,000. It is expected to inspire with more youth to dive into the skill competition to win honor for our country, and provide excellent technical manpower for the relevant industries by the increased bonus.

The chief judge, also as a national champion formerly, and 341 judges indicate: Taiwan’s skills competition must track the international competition, as well as cooperate with the international organizations, so as to introduce advanced technology. And the judges’ responsibilities, professional and moral accomplishment shall play an important role in the influence on the participants. It is hoped to improve Taiwan’s participants’ accomplishment by the influence of the judges.

• Tainan Vocational Training Center: Robot, jewelry incrustation, comprehensive machinery, machine and electricity integration, computer-aided design and drafting, CNC machine process, constructional steel, information technology, welding, wood die, construction pavement, autobody retair, sheetmetal, tubing, industrial electronic, webpage design, indoor wiring, industrial wiring, bricklaying, painting, rendering, furniture wood work, door and window wood work, female cloth, vehicle painting, air condition, information and network technology, advertisement design, die preparing, state cloth, male cloth and visual electronics etc.
