   The Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) urged the general public in Taiwan not to resort to violence or unbecoming behavior upon Filipino migrant workers in response to the fatal incidence. In case of assistance needed by the employers or Filipino migrant workers, they can call the toll-free, 24-7-365 service line 1955 set for the protection and advices for all foreign workers in Taiwan.

   CLA pled to the general public that, Taiwan is a highly developed democratic country with law-abiding citizens in general, shall treat the Filipinos working in Taiwan with decency and reasonable manners, also pledged and reminded the employers concerned and Filipino migrant workers, in case of help and assistance required, please do call 1955 hot-line without hesitation.
