    To provide better and more thoughtful employment services. As of November 2012, the Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training (BEVT) of the CLA initiated a comprehensive service model known as “One-on-one Full Package Employment Services”. The services include 「One-Stop Service」,「One-On-One」and「Full Package Employment Service」; any individual can make appointments beforehand for the related services in terms of job-seeking or unemployment benefits; there will be consultants to provide the services requested. This measure is expected to save the applicants precious time of waiting in order to enhance the results of employment match-makings.

    In the past, people went to any Employment Service Center/Station for services and assistances, had to draw a number first and wait for his/her turn. In some occasions longer queues required longer and nuisance waiting period; on the other hand, the random number-drawing meant the random short encounters with different consultants, who were unfamiliar with the demands of the individual, so the efficiency of the employment match-makings were therefore confined.

    Mr. San-Quei Lin, Director-General of BEVT said, the 「Full Package Employment Service」is a new measure currently promoted, based on “by appointment” system, can allow the general public to pre-arrange in appropriate time with the Employment Stations in line with personal conditions and requests, time can be saved and efficiency can be raised. A service model with a designated and fixed consultant can save time for our clients, who do NOT have to repeat their stories over and over again without gaining real services needed urgently; also mutual trust can be established between the clients and consultants. Tailor-made employment services and projects can be rendered in time, and the employment promotion tools and resources can be utilized for the re-entries of the general public.

    The model of 「Full Package Employment Service」is expected to be useful in boosting the service quality of our Employment Service Stations, which will move forward on the course of providing one-stop service platforms of employment services, vocational trainings, skill assessments and start-up entrepreneurs, so the job-seekers can have a more in-depth and professional life-long career development service.

    Additionally, the BEVT, under the main theme of “Upgrading Workforce with Jobs and Pay raise”, has also formulating plans to conduct 10 large scale job fairs to be kicked off in February 2013, locating more placements for the job-seekers.
