To enhance the labor safety measures of delivery workers and protect their rights and interests in occupational accidents, the "Guidelines on Safety and Health of Food Delivery Operations" (i.e. Version 4.0) was amended and announced. In addition to strengthening the reasonable dispatch mechanism, expanding the scope of "third party liability insurance", a new item of "hazard notification" was added. The third party liability insurance, which requires a certain period of time before insurance providers can obtain approval for the listing of insurance products, will be fully enforced after a grace period until November 1, 2022.
