In response to the impact of the current economic situation on labor, leading to reduced working hours under labor-employer agreements, the “Employment Insurance Promotion of Employment Implementation Regulations” were amended and promulgated to adjust the criteria for activating stable employment measures, the implementation period, eligibility criteria for applicants, and the standard of payments. The amendments aim to stabilize employment and reduce unemployment, such as by providing subsidies to make up for differences in partial wages during the period of reduced working hours.
