President Tsai has announced the enactment of the “Minimum Wage Act” through the passage of a special law. This move aims to enhance the framework of the minimum wage review mechanism and ensure the government's commitment to safeguarding the economic well-being of low-income workers. The law took effect on January 1, 2024 after approval by the Executive Yuan.
