In addition he indicates because of Formosa Petrochemical Corporation is still a new factor (begun its operation in 2000), there are some problem such as aging facilities and pipeline and wire. It can be forecasted that in the future the frequency of construction, repairing and maintenance or discarding the old ones for new ones shall be increased year after year, as well as the risk of occupational disasters, so he reminds the Formosa Petrochemical Corporation constructing a perfect security management system as soon as possible, as well as caring more the contractors and foreign workers’ security management.

He emphasizes on in the seminar:

1. In policy, we shall instruct the form of labor security. And the senior supervisor shall promise to respect life and security first so as to avoid impressing as profit overweight security.
2. In organization we shall strengthen the supervision energy, and break the traditional labor security organization by prospective planning and organization reconstruction, so as to the labor security department can operate a more safe production environment and make more profits for the company based on the expansion of risk management and loss control.
3. In implementation, we shall carry out effects of the policies and systems, particularly the afoot Phase 4 expansion engineering in the No.6 Naphtha Cracker Plant of Formosa Plastics.
