Workers who participate in special operations with health threats, should have the job related illness prevention health check.

  • Last updated:2021-10-18

Workers with Labor Insurance, who participate in any of the 25 types of ‘Special Operations with Heath Threats’ listed under ‘Labor Health Protection Regulation’ and have applied for extension of Labor Insurance which lasts one year before the deadline for the Council of Labor Insurance to accept applications, are entitled to apply for the job related illness prevention health check once a year. The health checks should also have a one year gap.

The Department of Labor Insurance states that this health check is available every year. The insurance providers can apply for health checks for the legitimate insured worker according to the circumstances. However the gap between the health checks should be one year. After the Department of Labor Insurance receive and ratify the application, a booklet ‘List of Appointed Hospitals for Job related Illness Prevention Health Check’ and one copy of ‘Certificate and Record of Job related Illness Prevention Health Check’ for each legitimate insured worker will be forwarded to the insurance provider, who will then inform the insured worker to receive the health check at an appointed hospital within the valid period of 3 months.

As for insurance providers who do not apply for health checks according to the regulations, the insured worker can fill out the ‘Voluntary Application for Job related Illness Prevention Health Check’ and apply to the Department of Labor Insurance, which will conduct the procedures after ratifying the application
