To secure the gender equality in employment, realize the constitutional principle of eliminating gender discrimination, and promote the authentic gender equality, Gender Equality in Employment Act was adopted on March 8, 2002. The Act was revised and promulgated in 2008, 2011 and 2013. The Act applies to all employment relations including public servants, educational staff, and military staff.
