Where a business entity default on the payment of retirement pension fund, severance pay, or wage to the workers in the course of implementing mass redundancy of workers, and, is under any of the following circumstance, and further fails to make the payments within a time limit ordered by the competent authority, the Central Competent Authority, may request, by an official notice, the authority in charge of border control to prohibit the representatives or the responsible persons in fact of the business entity from going abroad.
‧ Legal Aids in Mass Redundancy
To protect the rights of workers during mass redundancy, workers who did not receive their wages, severance pay, retirement pension fund, or were illegally terminated may apply for legal aids in mass redundancy, including litigation fees and attorney fees.
