Taking into account the increasing number of workers doing temporary or short-term jobs and to protect their safety at the workplace, Article 10 of the Act stipulates that any worker hired by a natural-person employer or any person actually engaging in labor work (e.g., a food delivery driver of any digital platform) may be enrolled in the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance by his/her employer or himself/herself via the website of the Bureau of Labor Insurance, a multimedia kiosk at any convenience store or other means.
