Q5. What are the upper and lower limits of insured salary for the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance?

To improve the rights of an insured person to benefits and enable employers to reasonably share the responsibilities of compensation for occupational accidents under the Labor Standards Act, the upper limit of insured salary for the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance is set to NT$72,800, which can cover the salary levels of 90% of workers. Additionally, the lower limit of insured salary is set to the minimum wage (NT$27,470 in 2024) to cover workers receiving lower salaries.
