Q10. What is the scope of acceptable applications for occupational illnesses?
- Last updated:2022-06-14
Since the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance has covered most workers, acceptable cases of applications for identification of occupational illnesses include those considered necessary by an insurer reviewing benefits for occupational illnesses, and those submitted by an insurer for identification upon the request of an insured person who has been diagnosed with an occupational illness by a recognized medical institution under Paragraph 1, Article 73 of the Act and who has requested for review of a dispute arising from his/her application for benefits for the occupational illness under Article 5 of the Act.
