Considering that some occupational illnesses have a long incubation period, if an insured person engaging in any hazardous activity defined by Paragraph 2, Article 63 of the Act who has left his/her job and withdrawn from insurance has been diagnosed by an occupational medicine physician at any recognized medical institution as having an occupational illness due to performance of duties during the insurance period, he/she may apply to the insurer for a subsidy for medical treatment or an allowance for disability or death.
